CoreCP | Creo Companion

Setup & Configuration

Configuration is driven by lightweight INI files — one for Baseline rules, another for isolated Special Projects. Edit them in any text editor, or hold Shift during launch to open the built-in editor.

Baseline editor

Hold Shift during launch to open the built-in Configuration Editor for Baseline rules. A Special Project designation can also be created from the built-in editor.

Special Project editor

The Special Project editor is also opened by holding Shift during launch. Use a Special Project when you need a specific Creo version, an alternate Windchill login, or other isolated settings. Each Special Project gets a unique PTC_WF_ROOT and CoreSP_UserEnv folder.

Configuration options

CP_License_Key

Registered license key for full functionality. See the download page.

CP_Version_Max

Baseline limit on auto-version selection. Leave blank and CoreCP launches the latest installed Creo. Enter a number, such as 8, to cap that choice.

CP_Creo_Cmd

Executable or batch file used to launch Creo. Leave blank for parametric.exe, or provide a command such as Creo.bat.

CoreCP_Setup_Master

Network path used as a central deployment server. When set, CoreCP synchronizes at launch the remote CoreCP_Home payload to the local CoreCP_Home folder. Synchronizing your entire team.

CP_Countdown

Long, Medium, or Short delay before the console automatically closes. Hold pauses indefinitely. None closes the console instantly.

CP_Launch_Sweep

Yes runs purge and sweep before launch. No skips launch-time cleaning.

CP_Reset_Config

Force config.pro to the Baseline, or allow local variance.

CP_Reset_UI

Force creo_parametric_customization.ui to the Baseline, or allow local variance.

CP_Reset_Mapkeys

Force mapkey.pro to the Baseline, or allow local variance.

CP_Keep_N

How many recent model versions to keep during a sweep. 1 keeps only the newest.

CP_Max_Days

Days to hold swept files in quarantine before deletion.

CP_Clutter
